ABRAMS M-1A1 TANK for FS2002

Enclosed you will find a NEWLY updated version 3 of the M-1A1 Abrams
tank. Have updated textures for vehicle, cut down the sound files to
only essiential files, and added a panel. The panel has to bitmaps,
the main panel and a "gunner's" panel. There are gauges at the top of
the main panel featuring 10 lighted sound buttons that will play
tank gun sounds. Each sound will play once. Then you must turn off
then press to hear sound again. The buttons are color coded and lighted. There are 10 sounds for the weapons including several automatic weapons, incoming fire etc. Great fun!

The virutal panel window sits you on top of the tank outside.

The sound gauges are the creation of my friend MR. R.L. Clark SOUND
GURU :-) his email: rlclark@ix.netcom.com
Many thanks Rob. You can download a full array of his
sound gauges by doing a search at SurClaro uner his name.
Drop him a note and thank him for all his contributions.

The file "GaugesReadme.txt" has INFO and instructions for the sound
gauges if you want to reuse them or modify settings. You should at
least read it.

Color Code for sounds gauges:
----------------------------
Green = Boom1
Amber = Boom2
Red = Boom3
Aqua = Breech
Purple = Autocannon
OdGreen = 20mm Cannon
Blue = M-60
Pink = Missiles Away
Gray = Incoming
Yellow = M16

Upper Panel features from left to right;
-----------------------------------------
TOP: RPM-Fuel-Throttle,MPH, Temp, Nav Radios & Xpander
BOTTOM: Compas, GT Time, Amps and EGT monitor

Standard FS Icons from left to right are:
----------------------------------
Display/hide kneeboard, ATC Window, Extra Radio Stack, FlightMap, Extra Compas, & last is Gunner wondow (although I'm using the Collective button) for switching to that window.
Note: When switching to the gunner window, you should use
Shift+1 to turn off the main panel.

I've also included & installed the altgps gauge by Chuck Dome.

Most of the gauges show up at night,and I've configured a FLIR color scheme for night viewing on main panel.

Installation:

Install all "WEAPONS ONLY" WAV files to the Default SOUND folder, and all Gauge files to the Default GAUGE folder. The other two WAV files
go into the Vehicle's sound folder. Make sure to do this correctly or the weapons fire buttons will not work properly.

Install the tank vehicle and panel as you normally would any aircraft
configuration.

description:
I spent way to much time on this. Drives pretty good for an FS ground vehical. No panel, so drive it from the TC's station. Features Animated crewman(F key), and main gun, crew served weapons, lear sounds realy add a nice touch. I dedicate this to all my fello tankers in the Cav. Have fun boys!

Installation:
place the M1-A1 folder into your'e CFS2 aircraft folder.

Thanks to Dave Eckert for his FSDS "Pilot", witch I modified for duty in the Armored cav.
